From 12 October we follow sixteen competitions instead of twenty-seven

From Monday 12 October DreamTeam11 follows sixteen competitions. The eleven smallest drop out: the Allsvenskan in Sweden, the Eliteserien in Norway, the Veikkausliiga in Finland, the Premiership in Scotland, the NB I in Hungary, the First League in Bulgaria, the Superliga in Romania, the Super Liga in Serbia, the Niké Liga in Slovakia, the 1. SNL in Slovenia and the Premier League in Ukraine.

The reason is practical. Our data source only allows a fixed number of requests per hour, and with twenty-seven competitions we kept running into that limit. We would rather have sixteen competitions whose points arrive quickly and reliably than twenty-seven running at the edge of what is possible.

What does this mean for you? Players from the eleven competitions that drop out can no longer be bought. If such a player is already in your team, he stays and you can simply sell him, but he no longer earns new points. The points he has earned so far stay. Anyone affected received a message about this on 30 September.

You can find the competitions that remain on the competitions page: England, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Turkey, Poland, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, the Czech Republic and Croatia. Whether competitions return later depends on that same limit. As soon as there is news, you will read it here.

Do you have a player from one of the eleven in your team? Then this is a good moment to review your squad.
